Singita Lebombo Lodge, located within Singita Game Reserves’ concession in South Africa’s famed Kruger National Park, ranks among the top three hotels and resorts in the Middle East and Africa, according to the latest Gallivanter’s Guide Awards for Excellence. 

Having been rated against the finest hotels on the continent, Singita Lebombo Lodge attained joint 2nd position in the category Best Hotel/Resort in the Middle East & Africa, in the prestigious UK Gallivanter’s Guide Awards for Excellence 2009. Sharing this title is the Dar Al Masyaf, Madinat, located at the Jumeirah Resort in Dubai, while the Amanjena Hotel in Marrakesh, Morocco took pole position in this category.

Singita Lebombo Lodge is the only game lodge in Africa, and the only South African property to be selected onto the awards listing this year. It is the second year running that it has been recognized as the most stylish and idyllic lodge in Africa, after it was placed 2nd in the category ‘Best Small Hotel/Resort Under 100 Rooms’ in 2008.
