Getting there: Ebony & Boulders Lodges and Castleton Camp

Location

Singita Ebony & Boulders Lodges and Castleton Camp are located in the Sabi Sand on 18 000 hectares (45 000 acres) of private land in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve on the western border of the Kruger National Park, Mpumalanga province, South Africa.

By road

Recommended route from Johannesburg: N12/N4 to Nelspruit. R40 from Nelspruit to Hazyview. R536 from Hazyview towards Paul Kruger gate. After 36 km, pass Lisbon Store, then turn left onto gravel road. Pay R80.00 (ZAR) vehicle entrance fee (subject to change). Enter Sabi Sand Reserve at Shaw's Gate. Follow Singita signs to lodge (approximately 28 km).

By air

Federal Air offers a daily return flight direct to Singita Sabi Sand from Johannesburg's O.R. Tambo International Airport. There are daily scheduled flights currently operated by SA Airlink into Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA), situated between Nelspruit and White River. Getting there: Lebombo & Sweni Lodges

Location

Singita Lebombo & Sweni Lodges are located on a 15,000 hectare (33,000 acre) private concession in the eastern south central part of the Kruger National Park.

By road

Recommended route from Johannesburg: N12/N4 to Nelspruit. R40 from Nelspruit to Hazyview. R536 from Hazyview towards Paul Kruger gate. Pay R30.00 (ZAR) per person + R24.00 (ZAR) per vehicle. Follow the H11 towards Skukuza (12 km) and then head north on the H1-2 towards Satara, until you reach the H6 (84 km). This turn-off is 3 km south of Satara. Turn right here and then follow the road to the N’wanetsi Picnic site (19 km). Turn left at the T-junction where you see the Singita signpost. Alternatively, you can take the gravel road S37 (Trichard Road) 13 km north of Tshokwane towards N’wanetsi. This saves about 40 minutes driving. Please make sure that you have reached the lodge before the gate closure time. Approximate travelling time from the Paul Kruger gate will be three hours (speed limit 50km/hour on tarred roads, 40km/hour on gravel roads).

The lodges have been running at, and above, capacity for most of the month and there has been a fantastic vibe and hype in both the lodge and the staff village with the soccer World Cup having a unifying effect.
