No matter what your age, the untamed wilderness and magnificent wildlife of Africa will leave a lasting impression. A safari makes for an unforgettable family holiday, which is why we offer guests with children a number of convenient options.

We welcome children at our lodges. Children over the age of 10, sharing with adults, are accommodated in a family suite. Children under the age of 10 can be accommodated if the entire lodge is block booked or if two adjoining family suites are booked. Castleton Camp accommodates children of all ages.

Family suites at Ebony & Boulders, Singita Sabi Sand

The family suites include an en-suite master bedroom and an en-suite twin bedroom, a lounge area with a stone fireplace and a private viewing deck with a heated plunge pool.

‘Lodge within a lodge’

Connected by a common dining/lounge veranda area, two family suites can be secured as a small ‘lodge within a lodge’ . i.e. you book two adjoining family suites and enjoy a private dining room and lounge area.

When booking ‘a lodge within a lodge’ you have the option of booking a private Landover and guide as well as your own private chef and butler (there is an additional charge for this service).

Please note that when booking children under the age of 10, the ‘lodge within a lodge’ option including these private services is compulsory. Safari activities are flexible and developed to suit your needs. As the suites have private access, your game drives depart directly from your door.

Children under the age of 10 are not accommodated in the main lodge (e.g. the gym, spa and dining area) as this can sometimes be distracting for other guests. For safety reasons children under the age of 6 are not permitted on a game drive vehicle.
