The rains throughout October were very good and consistent, on most afternoons we had thunderstorms that lasted for about half an hour and these were scattered all over the property, then there would be a few dry days, which allowed the roads to dry out a little and give us access to some of the areas that get very challenging when wet!
Game viewing has been excellent, with good sightings of the predators, buffalo, eland and some of the smaller species, like bush pig that Jena Gardner from JG Blackbook and Tova Fink from Protravel saw one afternoon as two of them burst from a thicket near to where we standing talking about ants! The Wildebeest have been out in their numbers again and seeing so many animals of one species is an incredible sight that you cannot quite get over or stop looking at, and when they are all driven by the same need you can only sit and marvel at it.
