The first two weeks of March were fairly dry, with not much rainfall over the central and western parts of Singita Grumeti Reserves; Ikorongo had a lot – which made the Game Scouts Training course fairly wet!

The plains have changed, from short green pastures to long waving seas of grass. In one month the growth has been phenomenal; you could almost see the grass growing and then turning from lush green to golden brown.
