Malilangwe Wildlife Reserves, Zimbabwe

Singita Pamushana Lodge is set within a remote wilderness area that is bounded in the west by the rich riparian woodland flanking the Chiredzi River. Easily accessible from the Buffalo Range international airport, Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve is teeming with birds and wildlife, including rare and endangered species – such as the rare Roan antelope, Sable and the “Capehunting dog” (or Lycaon Pictus, “painted wolf”) and is home to one of the highest concentrations of black rhino on the continent. Famous for its cathedral Mopane forests and majestic African Baobab Adansonia digitata) trees, Malilangwe is an area where you will also find over one hundred rock art sites that date back more than two thousand years.
